PREMIERE: Does the premiere of a new season make the show more exciting?
While everyone is excited for December 25th, , Attack on Titan fans are waiting eagerly for December 7th, when the fourth and final season of the hit anime premieres. The most recent episode,the gripping finale of the third season was released on July 1, 2019. Since then, fans have been waiting to see how the show will come to an end.
Attack on Titan is the anime adaptation of the manga by Hajime Isayama, in which the world has been taken over by human-eating giants named titans , and the survivors of the world are forced to cower behind walls to avoid these towering foes . The scouts are a military regiment that venture outside the walls and hunt the enemy titans to prevent an attack. . The main characters of this show want to join the scout to discover the world and take back their lost freedom.
While the first three seasons were fairly interesting — the characters fought to reclaim their territory from the Titans and eliminate traitors lurking within their ranks — season four promises a much more intense plot where we will finally see what life is like outside of the walls. This next season will take place four years after the third season’s finale, and it will introduce brand new characters and stakes to the already thrilling saga.
For the final season, the studio that has been producing Attack on Titan has changed. Even though there will be a change, the new studio, MAPPA, is very well known and usually attracts the attention of anime watchers. With that said, this could mean a slight change in the art style, which longtime fans may not be happy about.
As of now, the number of episodes in the new season has not been confirmed, which keeps the fans on the edge of their seats. Even though season four itself hasn’t come out yet, the manga continues to be published. The next chapter will be released on December 9, two days after the premiere of season four of the anime. While manga readers already know what this new season has in store for the rest of the fans, the ultimate ending still remains unknown.
