Tuesday, December 11: Group 1
ThunderBalls rolled over Az-Buh and Bro-Squad+1 to automatically qualify for the second round. Also moving on was e-Lemon-ators, who despite a first game loss to Bro-Squad+1, squeezed by Az-Buh and won a rematch against Bro-Squad+1.
Wednesday, December 12: Group 2
Bad News Bears and Party w/Polo dominated their portion of the double elimination first round bracket to keep their hopes of a dodgeball championship alive.
Thursday, December 13: Group 3
The Jocks lived up to their billing and dominated to start their defense of last years title (won as the Brew Crew) , pummeling the Black Shirts and Future Soldiers and skating into the next round. Future Soldiers quickly recovered and defeated the Black Shirts to also march on to next weeks games.
Friday, December 14: Group 4
The Sky Lemeshes, whose namesake ironically plays for the e-Lemon-ators, soared in victories over the Big Babas and #’merica. The Big Babas however, reversed their early fortunes and played massively enough to still move on, trouncing Cookies ‘n’ Cream and #’merica in subsequent matches
