SENIOR: Willa Ralston, a beloved Poly High School student, reflects on the past four years of her life as a Poly Bear.

As the 2021-22 school year nears the end, we begin to say farewell to our beloved seniors as they prepare to start a new chapter in their lives. One senior, the smart and charming Willa Ralston, has made quite an impact in her four years. Since freshman year, Willa has challenged herself with honors and AP courses such as AP Language and Composition and AP Physics. She also participates in the Art Club and the French Honors Society. Willa has been a vital part of the Poly Girls Varsity Swim and Waterpolo team where she was a starter for girls water polo and even was recognized by the ivy league, receiving second team in all of the league her senior year.

One highlight she recalls from the 2021-2022 season was the San Diego tournament, where the team bonded and learned together. Willa states that “this season overall was a nice way to wrap up my senior year”.

A bright future lies ahead for Willa, she plans to study computer or cognitive science, as she wants to be either a game designer or a user experience engineer. She is not sure which college she will be studying these ambitious career paths at yet, but with her AP filled schedules and extracurriculars, she is sure to be accepted somewhere amazing. We are sad to see Willa go, but we are excited to discover what the future holds for her as she begins her next chapter.
