Riverside Polytechnic High School has officially announced its 2026 prom, and this year’s theme brings a dreamy, cinematic twist. Starlit Jazz Soiree draws inspiration from vintage glamour and musical energy of “La La Land”, promising a night filled with elegance, music, and starry visuals.
Prom will take place on May 2, 2026, from 7:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts. The venue, known for its grand architecture and performance atmosphere, compliments the jazz-age inspired theme and sets the stage for a memorable evening.
Tickets will be sold in phases, with prices increasing each week. From April 13 – 19, tickets are $105 with ASB and $110 without. From April 20 – 26, prices rise to $110 with ASB and $115 without. During the final sale window, April 27 – 29, all tickets will be $125. Students also have the opportunity to purchase half-off tickets for $55 using 50 Minga Points, making the event accessible to a greater number of Poly students.
Prom is open to juniors and seniors only. For students planning to bring a guest from outside Poly, guest passes are now available in the front office and Room 202. Seniors should note that signed senior contracts are required before purchasing tickets.With its blend of jazz-era style and modern prom tradition. Starlit Jazz Soiree is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated events of the year. Students are encouraged to purchase tickets early and prepare for a night that captures the magic of music, movement, and city lights.
