The Editors

In order to file a complaint about a teacher, a single student (not accompanied by anyone) should go to the office and ask to write a statement describing the issue. A student must write this statement by him or herself in the office and hand it to a faculty member, who will then deliver it to the principal or the assistant principal to read. This statement is confidential; only the principal or his assistant will read it. Once the statement reaches the principal or his assistant, he or she will read it and sometime call the student in during the school day to discuss the issue behind closed doors. Your discussion of the issue will help the principal make a decision about what to do with that teacher.
